Thank you Lois for this so helpful perspective. Me and my family are moving through my father’s dying process in real time, and we are creating what meaning, rituals and emotions we want together.. This includes having parties and singing to old Elvis songs and reading short stories together.. We are sad yet we’re not afraid or tragedy-izing. And trying not to worry as Huey reminds us.
