Becoming a Learner

Becoming a Learner

Heading to Taiwan tomorrow for a week of activities…

I’ll be delivering a keynote at the 2016 International Conference of Allies Across Boundaries: Diverse Practices of Education and Human Potential Development, held at National Dong-Hwa University, Hualien Taiwan, November 18-19, 2016.

I titled my talk “Creating Communities of Hope.” It’s a wide-ranging exploration of gaps and paradoxes—among them the gap between the world’s development needs and learning needs and looking at performance as a developmental way to engage the paradox that we experience what is a social existence as a separate and individuated one.
