Play is a Human Right

Play is a Human Right

31header

You might be surprsied to know that play is a children’s right according to the UN.  Here’s a video to promote and advocate for its realization around the globe.

This is Me: Article 31 and a Child’s Right to Play (narrated by CUNY Graduate Center’s Roger Hart)

My question—what about the rest of us? Play is, developmentally speaking, a human right at any age.

As a life long believer and producer of play with. 3 to 5 year olds to undergraduate teacher trainees….so happy to see play expressed so profoundly simply and so much fun!!!…great tool to use!

    Thanks Lois!

Wow, it’s a terrific video. Thanks for sharing, Lois. Everybody should see this! (I tend to get autocratic about things I’m passionate about).
