Border Dancing with Stan Krippner

Border Dancing with Stan Krippner

On April 16, “Making a Conceptual Revolution—A Conversation Series with Lois Holzman” featured psychologist Stanley Krippner, a leading expert on altered states of consciousness, dreaming, psychic phenomena, psychedelics, posttraumatic stress disorder, hypnosis, anomalous experiences, indigenous healing, and shamanism. A long-time friend of mine and the East Side Institute, which sponsors the series, Stan has been breaking down borders and challenging mainstream psychology’s dichotomies for half a century.

Excellent conversation — both of you advancing liberatory practice –> new ways to be, new ways to see, and a dismantling of the ILLUSION of self. Loved Stan’s comments about how in tribal society notions of one’s identity certainly don’t end at the skin… that’s just the beginning…
