What Dogs Do for Us

What Dogs Do for Us

Jane Brody is the Personal Health columnist for The New York Times. Her April 8, 2014 column, “My Life as a Dog Owner,” is lovely. She speaks personally of how her life changed when she got a dog and moves from there to share research on the health that dogs bring into our lives—especially the youngest and the oldest among us. You can read the column online with a different title—“Life with a Dog:You Meet People.”

Note: Jane’s new puppy is the same breed as my dog Reggie—a Havanese.
