    That’s so interesting, Lonny! From the relatively little I know about animal play studies, you’re right to note that they’re focused on play as preparation for adulthood. And this video does look to us humans like mutual appreciation. I like that…

    This is so cute – what a great example of the value of play. And play that does not seem intended for maturation processes associated with a species, as one would expect for role preparation. No boundaries, simply frolicking and mutual appreciation. Is this common to many species – to tumble on one’s back in order to communicate “welcome” and peer appreciation?
